Yes, its Monday, January 3, 2011, and a new beginning for me!!! No more 8-5 at DHS...no more answering the phone "Macomb Department of Human Services..how can I help you"....no more crabby complaints from callers that they can't get a hold of their worker.... So, I got up, took a 30 minute walk, started putting away Christmas items, had a cup of green tea, and will now work on restyling my blog! I'm not sure how this will work, but I would like to acknowledge one person each day who I am grateful for...I hope this will inspire me to truly realize how fortunate I am to have so many people in my life who make me smile, make me think and make this world a better place!!! So the first person I wish to acknowledge is........RICHARD PIEKARSKI! My husband is my rock!! He is the wind beneath my wings! He makes me laugh...he works really hard...he keeps me grounded...he is truly my partner! Thank you Richie, for supporting my decision to retire!! I love you!

You and Sandy and Jan inspired me to start my own blog and I hope you will check on it from time to time! I think you have a great theme going- that was the hardest part for me- coming up with a theme.
