Good news!!! Dr. Fessler confirmed that my "bitty tumor" (his words) was benign, as expected!
ME: Bitty? So why is the incision bigger than you described?
HE: Well, you know ...yeah, looks like we shaved more hair than I told you..
ME: Yeah, I know, you didn't want to scare me!
HE: (smile)
He then proceeded to pull out the 12 staples holding my scalp together: OUCH...11 MORE TO GO! Yes, I felt each and every one! Plus, I do not need to see him for 2 years!! So I can resume my normal activities, like driving, and will return to work on June 11th. I will certainly enjoy each day, especially the warm weather that's heading our way! SMILE!
